Official Marshmallow Update for Asus Zenfone 2 Laser - Today, we
are going to share a full firmware of ASUS Smartphone, one of Zenfone 2
variant. Almost a month after the ZE500KL, Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL has
received the Marshmallow update.
There are 3 things you need to give an attention :
- Make sure you have backup your data before you update your device to the new firmware.
- Move all your apps to internal storage before updating. Zenfone 2 Laser Marshmallow won't support APP2SD.
- And please make sure your device is updated to the latest Lollipop firmware.

Release Note
- Software update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Internal storage will
decrease slightly after the update, suggest to back up data and relocate
media file (pictures and video clip) to SD card to reserve enough
storage before starting the software update.
- Android Marshmallow won't support APP2SD. Please move apps to internal storage before system upgrades.
- Multi-user function won't be supported if the account is deleted. Please keep your account to continue usage.

Asus Email, Asus Calendar, Asus Messaging will no longer be pre-loaded
in this version. You can use Gmail, Google Calendar & Google
Messenger provides corresponding services.
How to Update Zenfone 2 Laser to Marshmallow
To upgrading ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, you can choose some methods :
1. OTA ( Over The Air )
- Go to Settings
- About
- System Update
- And see if there any available updates.
2. Manual, Directly from the Phone
- Download Firmware.zip from the last link of this post.
- Copy and Paste this firmware.zip to Internal Storage
- Update notice will be pop up in your Zenfone screen
- Tap Update.
3. Update via SD Card
- Download Firmware.zip from the last link of this post.
- Copy and paste firmware.zip to SD Card
- Open recovery
- Choose apply update from sd card
